Designed in Webflow, served by TestiFollow

Add the snippet with a Code Embed element.

In Webflow’s Add panel, place a Code Embed element exactly where the testimonials should appear. Paste the TestiFollow container and script together, then save the embed.

Webflow supports HTML, CSS and JavaScript inside this element. The Code Embed is available to eligible Core, Growth, Agency or Freelancer Workspaces, or to a site with an active Site plan. Webflow limits each embed to 50,000 characters; the TestiFollow snippet is far smaller.

Designer preview behaviour

Webflow shows a placeholder for script-based embeds in the Designer. Preview, publish or export the site to render the code, and test the published page before launch.

How to add TestiFollow testimonials to Webflow

Use the visual Code Embed element rather than adding the widget loader globally. That keeps the snippet attached to the section that needs it.

  1. 1
    Create a TestiFollow project

Add the brand or website that will collect and display testimonials.

  2. 2
    Share the collection link

Send one public link to customers and collect written feedback with consent.

  3. 3
    Approve what should be public

Review each Pending submission. Only approved, consented testimonials can appear.

  4. 4
    Choose a widget format

Create a Grid, manually controlled Carousel, or Single testimonial widget.

  5. 5
    Copy the embed code

The snippet contains only the public widget UUID and the TestiFollow loader URL.

  6. 6
    Add it in Webflow

Open the Add panel, drag a Code Embed element into the intended section, paste both snippet lines, then Save & Close. Use a Site plan or eligible Workspace that permits Code Embed.

  7. 7
    Publish the page

Save and publish through Webflow so the external script can load.

  8. 8
    Check desktop and mobile

Use Webflow Preview and the published staging or production URL. Check the parent element width at desktop, tablet and mobile breakpoints.

Placement inside a designed system

Use testimonials as part of the content hierarchy.

On a SaaS landing page, a Single widget can reinforce one product benefit. An agency portfolio can give a Grid enough width to show several project perspectives. A pricing page can use Carousel when proof needs to stay compact.

  • SaaS landing pages: support a specific product promise.
  • Agency sites: add the client voice beside selected work.
  • Portfolios: show how the working relationship felt.
  • Pricing pages: reduce uncertainty near plan comparison.

Format choice

Choose the widget before you design its container.

Grid benefits from a wider section. Carousel keeps one approved testimonial prominent with accessible previous and next controls and no autoplay. Single fits a focused component beside a CTA.

The loader supports more than one TestiFollow widget on the same published page without duplicate initialisation.

Grid

A wide, testimonial-rich agency or customer section.

Single

One relevant story beside a feature, project or CTA.

Webflow plan and TestiFollow plan

Two separate choices, clearly distinguished

Webflow controls whether your project may use Code Embed. TestiFollow controls collection and widget entitlements. Free provides one widget and 15 text testimonials; Pro is £9.99/month with unlimited widgets and testimonials, photos, custom colours and branding removal.

Webflow questions

Publishing a third-party testimonial embed

Is TestiFollow listed in the Webflow Marketplace?

No. Add TestiFollow as third-party code through Webflow’s Code Embed element.

Why do I see a placeholder in the Designer?

Webflow documents that scripts appear as placeholders in the Designer. Use Preview or the published site to see the rendered widget.

Does the widget need Webflow CMS?

No. Testimonial content is managed in TestiFollow and rendered from the public widget UUID. Webflow CMS is not required.

Can host styles change the testimonial cards?

The widget is rendered inside a sandboxed iframe, isolating it from the Webflow site’s CSS.

TestiFollow is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Webflow.
