One workflow, two WordPress environments
Use a Custom HTML block where your site permits scripts.
On a self-hosted WordPress site, add a Custom HTML block and paste the TestiFollow snippet. WordPress can remove <script> and <iframe> markup for users who do not have the unfiltered_html capability, so an administrator or suitably authorised editor may need to publish it.
WordPress.com also provides a Custom HTML block, but JavaScript and iframe code require a plugin-enabled plan with hosting features activated. Free WordPress.com sites do not accept this kind of widget script.

How to add TestiFollow testimonials to WordPress
The WordPress-specific step uses the editor’s Custom HTML block. Guidance is based on current official WordPress.org and WordPress.com documentation.
- 1Create a TestiFollow project
Add the brand or website that will collect and display testimonials.
- 2Share the collection link
Send one public link to customers and collect written feedback with consent.
- 3Approve what should be public
Review each Pending submission. Only approved, consented testimonials can appear.
- 4Choose a widget format
Create a Grid, manually controlled Carousel, or Single testimonial widget.
- 5Copy the embed code
The snippet contains only the public widget UUID and the TestiFollow loader URL.
- 6Add it in WordPress
Insert a Custom HTML block on the chosen page, paste both lines of the TestiFollow snippet, and update the page. On WordPress.com, first confirm the site supports script code.
- 7Publish the page
Save and publish through WordPress so the external script can load.
- 8Check desktop and mobile
Open the published page at desktop and mobile widths. If WordPress removes the script, check the editor role or WordPress.com plan before troubleshooting the widget.

Collection and control
WordPress displays only what you approve.
Your collection page lives on TestiFollow, so customers can submit from a shareable link without logging into WordPress. New testimonials begin Pending. Only approved, consented stories are eligible for a widget or Wall of Love.
The TestiFollow loader creates a sandboxed iframe and resizes the widget after it renders. That keeps its styles separate from the WordPress theme.

Does TestiFollow have a WordPress plugin?
No. TestiFollow is an independent embeddable service. You use the widget code in a WordPress Custom HTML block where the site and editor permissions allow scripts.
Why did WordPress remove the script from my block?
Self-hosted WordPress sanitises disallowed markup for users without the required capability. On WordPress.com, script and iframe code requires a plugin-enabled plan. Ask the site administrator to confirm both.
Can I share testimonials without embedding code?
Yes. Every active project can have a public Wall of Love, which you can link from a menu, button, post or sales page.
Will the widget inherit my WordPress theme CSS?
No. TestiFollow renders the public widget in an iframe so host theme styles do not rewrite the testimonial cards.
