Responsible client stories for coaches

Share client experiences without making the story for them.

Choose a reflective moment

Ask when the client can describe the experience in context.

For a longer coaching relationship, feedback does not need to wait until the final session. A completed programme module or agreed review milestone can give a client a natural point to reflect. At programme completion, ask while the working experience is still clear.

Avoid scripting a dramatic outcome. Invite the client to describe what they found useful, what they understand differently and how they experienced the coaching process.

Programme milestone

Pause after meaningful progress

Ask after a planned review point, completed module or agreed body of work—not in the middle of a difficult moment.

Programme completion

Reflect on the full experience

Send the collection link after the final session, with no pressure to make promises or disclose private details.

  1. 01

What prompted you to begin coaching at that point?

  2. 02

Which part of the coaching process felt most useful to you?

  3. 03

What became clearer in the way you approach your decisions?

  4. 04

How would you describe the experience to someone considering this programme?

Prompts that respect the client’s voice

Ask for experience and perspective—not guaranteed outcomes.

Useful coaching testimonials can explain the starting context, the process and a client’s own reflection. They do not need health, financial, career or performance guarantees to help a prospective client understand the offer.

The collection form includes required consent to publish. Optional email stays private and never appears in public widgets or Walls.

Place stories with care

Help a visitor understand the programme at the right moment.

Programme page

Use a Carousel for varied perspectives

Long-form pages can give several approved client experiences one readable space with manual previous and next controls.

Booking page

Use one calm, relevant story

A Single widget can support the decision to enquire without overwhelming the booking details.

Wall of Love

Share a dedicated collection of experiences

Use the public Wall when someone wants to explore more approved stories away from the main sales page.

Recommended format

Let several voices be read at the visitor’s pace.

Carousel suits a longer programme or sales page because it keeps one testimonial prominent and lets the visitor move deliberately between stories. TestiFollow’s Carousel does not autoplay.

Grid

A scan-friendly section when you have a broader set of approved experiences.

Single

Focused proof beside a programme enquiry or booking action.

Coaching testimonial questions

Consent and control remain central

Do client testimonials publish as soon as they are submitted?

No. Every testimonial starts Pending. The coach must approve it before it can appear publicly.

Does TestiFollow verify or guarantee coaching outcomes?

No. TestiFollow collects customer-submitted feedback and gives the owner moderation controls. Coaches remain responsible for lawful, accurate use of published content.

Can a client choose whether their story may be displayed?

Yes. Publication consent is required on the collection form. A testimonial without consent is not eligible for public widget display.

Delivering advisory engagements rather than a coaching programme? See TestiFollow for consultants.
