When to ask students

Use a milestone that gives the feedback context.

A request works better when the student has completed enough of the learning experience to describe it. Tie the ask to the course journey rather than sending an unexplained request.

Module milestone

Capture a specific part of the experience

Ask after a substantial module, project or cohort checkpoint when the material is still fresh.

Course completion

Invite a full-course reflection

Share the link after the final lesson or assessment so the student can discuss structure, clarity and usefulness.

Cohort close

Make feedback part of the wrap-up

Include the link alongside closing resources and next steps, with publication consent made explicit.

Course-specific prompts

Ask about the learning experience, not a scripted success story.

Student feedback is more useful when it explains who the course suited, how the material was structured and which part helped understanding. Avoid prompts that assume a particular financial, career or personal result.

What made you choose this course at this stage?

  2. 02

Which lesson, exercise or format helped you understand the topic?

  3. 03

How would you describe the pace and structure of the course?

  4. 04

What did you feel better prepared to do after completing the material?

  5. 05

What should a prospective student know before enrolling?

Carousel

A compact sequence for a launch page with several sections to read.

Single

One highly relevant student experience beside a specific curriculum promise.

Where student stories fit

Use proof to clarify the learning experience.

A Grid can help visitors compare several perspectives on the course page. A manually controlled Carousel fits a longer launch page. A Single widget can sit beside a curriculum section when one story directly supports that topic.

  • Course landing page: provide a broad, scannable view.
  • Launch page: let several stories share limited space.
  • Enrolment page: answer a final question without crowding checkout details.
  • Wall of Love: share a larger approved student-story collection.

Moderation before launch

Publish deliberately, even when a deadline is close.

Every student submission starts Pending. Review the wording, rating, optional details and publication consent before approving it. Pending and Rejected submissions never appear in public displays.

TestiFollow collects written testimonials. It does not provide video testimonial collection or an LMS integration.

Course testimonial questions

What the current workflow does—and does not do

Can I automatically request feedback from my learning platform?

No. TestiFollow does not currently integrate with learning-management systems. You share the project’s public collection link at the milestone you choose.

Can students submit a photo?

Yes, when the project owner has Pro. The photo is optional and subject to image validation. Free collection pages accept text testimonials only.

Can I use testimonials on both launch and course pages?

Yes. You can create appropriate Grid, Carousel or Single widgets from approved testimonials and embed them where each page needs proof.
